In January 2000 the European Patent Office (EPO) granted Nozzad (UK) Limited a European Patent for their invention of a nozzle advertising unit. The number of the patent is EP0865408B

One of our major competitors in this market, Alvern, is of the opinion that our invention infringes their patent. We have had reports that they are, or have been, making statements which are tantamount to unsubstantiated threats to potential users of the nozzad nozzle advertising unit. We have had full legal opinions, however, from patent attorneys and also a leading UK patent barrister that their patent is not infringed.

If Alvern, or their agents, have made any such statements to you we would request that you ask them two questions;

1. Are you prepared to place your comments in writing?

2. Have you ever taken legal action against Nozzad (UK) Limited for
patent infringement?

The answers, in both cases, will be no!

Nozzad (UK) Limited has been successfully competing in this marketplace for over 7 years, more than sufficient time for Alvern to mount a patent infringement case, which they have never done.
